And I couldn't help but ponder how nice it would be if I were rich enough to buy a husband, until I realized that I already had and it ended as miserably as Mildred's marriage. Alas.
I watched that last night on TCM, too! We sure know how to do it up on a Saturday night, don't we? ;) Also, thanks for letting me know about the remake...I had no idea. I'll check back here for your full report.
