My vote is for the original 1945 version. The 1974 version, which I saw in the theaters when I was 11, I remember fondly for turning me into a Agatha Christie fan.
I concur on the original but also agree that the 1974 version has it's own big budget charm.
Ever watch Agatha Christie's Evil Under The Sun, with Peter Ustinov? The outfits, the music, the actors, the beefcake swimming scene... mon dieu!!
