Is anyone else reminded of Ethel Merman?

Early signs

I remember seeing this as a very young child, and thinking even then, it was an important event.

When worlds collide.

Yet another song running thought my head, but at least it's a classic!

At words poetic, I'm so pathetic

That I always have found it best,

Instead of getting 'em off my chest,

To let 'em rest unexpressed.

I hate parading my serenading
