Not that my dating life has been that exciting, but just once I'd like to have some plans with a date I would look forward to seeing. I've become so jaded as I've gotten older..  A small part of me misses the thrill and excitement  of finding and liking someone new..  Who knows?  Maybe 2026 will offer some surprises.

Truth be told, I am not even fond of the city.  In  fact I spent a horrible depressing vacation there.  But at the moment I am mixing painkillers and cognac and they are having a very mellow effect.
