I had aunts named Eleanor and Gloria, My mother had a cousin Evelyn, a niece Lois, and a niece Norma, and my father had a cousin Virginia, and I referred to all of those cousins as "Auntie" as well. It boggles me that my name was actually somewhat popular at one point in time; popular enough to show up in things like that. It dominated in my inner circle, with three Normas in my family -- my mother born in 1930, her niece born in 1950, and, of course, me. We also had three Lindas (my mother's sister, her daughter, and a granddaughter) and three Armands (my uncle, his son, and grandson) plus an Amanda named for Armand. We had two Georges and two Michaels. Not a lot of thought put into names.
I like the tradition of naming everyone after everyone else be they dad or alive. I need to have two daughters so I can name them Mary and Constance after my Aunts Mary and Connie.
Joseph already took care of Uncle Paul and myself with Paul Anthony and covered our Father and himself himself list with Joseph the third.
