Trauma

I grew up in a large family.  Money was tight and hand-me-down clothes were frequent.  This led to a lot of clothing issues (and clothes buying retail therapy) in adulthood.  One of the biggest embarrassments was the horror of wearing flood pants.  To this day, if I allow myself I will look down and obsess about the length of my pants. The fold in the cuff, their crush against the top of my shoes,  you'd think I would have bigger things to worry about and I do.  Some memories still smart.

I love Thom Browne but this argument enters my mind when I see his stuff.
