Hmmm... no, my dog days are over. I would like to be free of all responsibilities for awhile. Travel. And it is not fair to an animal to have that kind of agenda and think you can also care properly for them.
I miss having a dog, and agree with you, pre-pandemic I was never home enough to care for one.
