Sid & Marty influenced me so much as a child and an artist that It has worked it's way into a show I had.
Pictured here is my take on Hopper's Nighthawks H.R. Pufnstuf style. It is entitled "After The Island". It shows Puf & Witchiepoo discussing if all that drama was worth it over one flute. She seems to be taking a small part of her nose putty off. There is a Sleestak in the background building. Sid & Marty are the two other people in the diner. Enjoy!

Juliette Compton
From IMDb: "Went to England in 1926 after marrying the wealthy, Oxford-educated Australian industrialist James Bartram. Acted in Cochran revues and a few films before returning to the U.S. in 1929. Bartram later divorced her on the grounds that her avowed Buddhist belief in a 'purely spiritual union' was not conducive to a happy marriage."
