Hello!

So I used the phrase "cock of the walk" at the gym yesterday...

in referring to another trainer, as in "He struts around here as if he's the cock of the walk" The two lunkheads I was talking to thought I was being lewd.  Tsk! Tsk!  The state of the American vocabulary.
