And I've failed to book a vacation.  Where should I go?

Returning to the scene of the crime

I'm off for a few days to Lake George to revisit some childhood family vacation memories.  This time my brother and I are taking his kids to experience what we went through.  

Or a reasonable facsimile thereof.

Right about now it is all I ever wanted.

But thanks to an unexpected Dental surgery expense nothing's happening anytime soon. ALAS!

Another beautiful summer day outside, another catering work shift keeping me inside!!!! So much for summer vacation being all fun in the sun! I wonder what it's like to survive on one salary and have time for a social life? Of course that kind of fantasy only holds true on planets where they pay librarians a livable wage......
