ye olde work stress.......

Circa 1906. "Cossitt Library, Memphis." This Romanesque red sandstone structure, at Front and Monroe on the banks of the Mississippi, was Memphis's first public library when it opened in 1893. Detroit Publishing.

Oh dear oh dear oh dear...........It's been one of those weeks where every computer I touch basically explodes in my face and none of the new library software is working in any remote way like it's supposed to. What I wouldn't give to be issued a stack of index cards to file in some remote cubby of a building such as this.........

What a wonderful building. Um, you should just relax and embrace the new technologies. You just need to attack your IT people.

Truly, it will be make you feel better.

Now I can understand wanting to be in some far corner or deep recesses of the library and away from the public eye.
