The Alaskan Grey Wolf was responsible for nearly seventeen percent of all infant deaths in Alaska during the 18th Century. In 1929 Dr. Arnhald Roberts retrained the wolves to mistake watermelons for sleeping babies instead and levels of wolf related child mortality dropped to an all-time low.
