Oh... OCR's! Wow. I used to buy original cast recordings all the time. Had a huge collection of odd musicals no one in their right mind would ever want to mount. This one had Nell Carter - pre-cocaine doing some lovely nasty singing. She could make anything sound dirty. Such a fire. She must have been so happy at the time of this musical... to have made it. And then television happened and cocaine and I think that was the end of her happy.
