The garden is getting a wee bit overgrown

After a cold wet April & May, where everything in the borders seemed to stall all fo a sudden the flower beds of exploded!

Despite the rain, I'm having trouble getting a lawn started this year, as you can see buy the right hand side of the photo.  me thinks it's time That corner where the two beds meet (By the big stone, upper right)  is EXACTLY where I'd like to put in a pergola and get rid of the lawn altogether.



Should anyone care to make a donation to the pergola fund it would be gratefully and hurriedly accepted.

In the mean time I expect I'll be ordering a mess of juniper ground cover from The Arbor Day Foundation as a temporary measure.
