Cool Breeze

Growing up we had a long haired Shepard  that just appeared one day in our neighborhood wearing Chicago license tags, apparently abandoned,   The noble creature (and I mean that sincerely) was promptly adopted my older brother and his friends,  They named him, or he was already named,  Cool Breeze.  We never , figured out  why, but now I'm wondering if anyone had recently seen and/or been impressed with this fine piece of cinematography

Cool Breeze was indeed noble and incredibly calm...10-12 neighborhood kids playing with him and hanging on him day and night...I don't think I ever heard him bark. This is one of those stories that could only have happened in the city in the 1970s. :)

Coo Breeze sort of reminded me of Nana from Peter pan.

Norma do your remember how he use to take the train to Maverick Square and back by himself looking for Jackie and his friends? I think the Eat Boston Times even did a story in it.
