Once when I was applying for a job as an editor, the guy interviewing me saw I had been a bartender and made some feeble joke about me mixing drinks for the staff, but there was this oddly sincere tone in his voice.
Since I've done so much catering/bartending in all the colleges I now can't attend any educational conference without realizing I've already been in most of the venues pouring alcohol.

I never drink in front of clients. Seen too many co-workers in wake up and find out they delivered more than they promised.
